Entrance Hallway

When we first moved in, this huge great ugly boiler was right in the hallway, taking up heaps of space, sounding like a fog horn and looking awful.... so, one of the first jobs was to get rid of it and replace it with a new quieter boiler and site it in the barn. It gave us heaps more space in the hallway.

Where the flower display stands on the cross legged table on the right of this picture, is where the boiler previously stood!

The mirror on the wall is well over 100 years old, is French, and finished the hallway off beautifully. We were so pleased to have found it at a car boot sale, or, as the French refer to it.... a vide-grenier!

The stairs are made of beautiful French re-claimed Oak and were bespoke made and fitted by Mark and Darryl.
