French Renovation Project ~ La Bougnolière

This stone and tiled former bread oven building is detached from the house but just across the courtyard from the kitchen. We currently use it for storage but it could be transformed into a dwelling, maybe a summer kitchen! There is lighting to the building and it has a mezzanine floor above.

This is the side view of the Bakery, which is absolutely charming. The oven and chimney / fireplace to the original bakery building has now fallen down; but the roof has been repaired where the chimney came through.

This picture shows the other side of the bakery building and shows the top patio space. This area faces south and is a wonderful place to sit in the sun or to sit and watch the sun go down in the early evening. The lower courtyard space to the right in this picture is ideal for BBQs and for dining too.
